Configuring change notifications

Registered Meridian Project Portal users can receive email notifications about changes to folders and documents in which the users are interested. The users will receive the notifications if they subscribe to folders or documents or if they are registered to receive notifications by other users. Workspace administrators can configure options that specify which folder and document actions create notifications. Registered users may also configure their own notification options to meet their preferences, which override the workspace settings. To configure workspace notification options:

  1. In the Settings view, expand the name of the workspace in which you want to configure the options and click Notification preferences. A page showing the current workspace notification options appears.
  2. Click options or type values using the descriptions in the following table.

Option Description

Send frequency

Specifies when the notifications are sent. When set to Immediately, pending notifications are sent every 10 minutes.

Send a notification...

Select the actions upon which users should receive notifications.

  1. Click Save notification preferences.
